Wadi I. Sawabini Jr.
Since 1991, Wadi Sawabini has taught thousands
of Federal Agents, State, County and
Local Police Officers how to shoot
videotape that stands up in court and wins cases. His courses are
used by the ATF, Border Patrol, DEA, ICE, FBI and dozens of other
federal agencies. He has taught at the
DEA Drug Team Commanders' schools at
the DEA Academy at Quantico, VA and Fort Leonard Wood, MO. State
police agencies in 27 states from California to Massachusetts have
used his 3-Day Video Camcorder Training for Law Enforcement program.
In addition police officers from five foreign countries have been
participants in his classes.
A graduate of
the University of Vermont, Sawabini
was Reserve Erie County (NY) Deputy
Sheriff while living in the Buffalo,
NY area. He is POST-certified
as an instructor in several states.
He is a member of ILEETA,
the Connecticut Division of the International
Association of Identification (IAI)
and the Law Enforcement Video Association
(LEVA). He is a frequent lecturer at
National and International Law Enforcement
Conferences and has appeared on the
Law Enforcement Television Network
(LETN).
In addition, Sawabini has written numerous articles, which have been published in Government Video and Police & Security News.
